Grrr!!

Okay! I made my YouTube channel and everything.
   I made a video.
   ...I uploaded it.
   It's fine!!!!
.........EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT THE SOUND IS LIKE 3 SECS BEHIND!!!!!!! D:
I don't understanddddddddd!!!! I tried to fix it and everything but It didn't workkkkk!! So the first video on my channel has sound problems. GREEAAAATTTTT!!!!
Well I wanted to make a lil video for my blog too, so it can be...perked up I guess. But after this, i gotta find another video thing. But anywayyyssss,

A little good news! I got a new products today!

Maybelline New York Gel Eyeliner- in Blackest Black

Okay, it's....okay. Ive had it on for like 3 hours and I've looked in the mirror and it has some slight chipping i guess you can say. All I know is that its not fully there. But thats at an up close view. From far away it looks perfect. Its intense and everything. I dont really wear liner on my bottom lash because it doesn't stay long enough. And also cause regular liner gives me racoon eyes and I HATE it. But this liner doesn't! And I love it for that!

Anyways, at walmart it's $6.95. So it's a good price! But it just has a little problem staying all together.
But otherwise its great!

Well i hope you guys are enjoying your thursday! Have a good weekend!!! Byee <3

Upset...

Hey guys,

Okay so I'm kinda upset. I'm sorry that I haven't been posting lately. But I thought I was gonna get my Sedona Lace 120 palette, and my mom didn't wanna order it and watevr, so I dont have the palette that I've seriously wanted for soooo long, but obviously it's not gonna happen. And what's botherling me the most is that I have the money for it, like personally and the whole plan was to just give her the money and I can have it before school starts but she just won't order it, like seriously?! Urgh.

But anyways! Back to some good stuff. I made a YouTube channel today:) So hopefully manana I will have a video up and you can watch it.

But again...some bad news, I had dance today so I didn't really get "pretty" sooooo I'm sorry but no LOTD today, but I promise I'll make one extra pretty for tomorrow.

So, I hope you guys are enjoying basically the last week of summer and all,. School starts next week for me sooo I'm trying to enjoy sleeping in and getting up late for now. Hehe;) Lol. Well thats all for now...Byee! <3

Then with the same brush and a bronze color I patted it in my inner crease.
With a Deep plum shadow and my crease brush, I patted it into my V and in a window wipper motion I sweeped it into my bronze color.
Adding mascara and liner...

Eyes done!

Where the Magic Happens:)

   Hello! :)

Okay, so for months I've been looking at reviews for the Sedona Lace 120 Palette and I've wanted it (Plus the set of brushes, but they're $50 and I'm gonna have to wait later for them sadly :[ ) So I talked to my madre about it and she said she'll look at the website etc etc. And I might get it this weekend!! :) As you can tell I'm excited.! I only hav so many eyeshadows and limited colors, so the palette is gonna be a step up for me:)

.....Now all I need is the right brushes...Lol.

Anyways! I asked my friend (Thanks Lexi!) what I should do for todays post...and she said to post pics/describe my "Makeup Station" since it's kinda big.
Well here it is!

Kaylene Ave. :)
Soooo there it isss! I love it.! As you can see I have a hair side, a makeup side and a BIG mirror between.

Hair. Very Limited, but to tell you the truth I don't do much to my hair...

Makeup.

Okay let me break this down for you..

  1. Pink makeup bag is makeup i use EVERYDAY + my foundation, primer etc. next to it.
  2. Black makeup bag is all my eyeshadows + the black case of makeup which has 8 color quads.
  3. Clear case is the rest ov my makeup which I don't use daily.
  4. Haha, okay, the lamp is supposed to be a desk lamp but...its great! It holds my brushes in one "cup" and my daily liner(s) in the other.

But yeah so there it is! Its my favorite part of my room, and I can't wait till school starts so I can use it daily.
Well I haven't gotten ready yet so I don't have a LOTD...but I promise there will be one..Byee!! <3

LOTD: Irresistibly Ivy w/ a twist

Hello!

Well I haven't done my look of the day yet so I might as well do it before dance practice:) Today my dance team took pictures for the school yearbook and my couch said natural makeup....HA! Not ever for me! I spiced up my "natural" look. To tell you the truth i wear this all the time if I wear green soooo Heres my LOTD :)

Eyes:
  • First I primed my eyes with VS PRO Lasting FX Eye Shadow Primer ($8). I spread it all over my eye up to my browbone.
  • Then as a base I used a skin tone base from the Mally Citychick PLUM CHELSEA pallet. Same as primer I spread my base all over my lid and up to my browbone.

I patted (YES, PATTED) with my medium shadow brush 2 all over my lids, careful not to exceed to my crease.
Then taking my crease brush I patted 4 along my outter V and halfway to my crease.
Then (after wiping off my medium brush very well as the colors kinda cling to soft brushes) I patted 3along my inner crease sweeping it slightly into 4.
Last but not least I took my medium brush (wiped it first) and sweeped 1 across my browbone to highlight.

Theeeennnnn adding eyeliner and mascara...

OH!! Wait the face!...

'Kay. As always, PRIME!! I use VS PRO Airbrush FX Face Primer SPF20. I seriously think this stuff is awesome! its smooth and is extremely lightweight :))
Then using my Clinique Foundation brush I applied VS PRO Soft Focus Liquid Foundation SPF all over my face. Blending well into my hair line and neck.
I conceled with Maybelline NEW YORK Mineral Power concealer in beige. I put it all over the spots i wantd to me covered, and if that didn't work I jus dabbed some green concealer for extra coverage.
With a cosmetic sponge (I get them from walmart) I applied my Copper Gleam from L'OREAL as a blush.
Set everything with my Jane mineral powder and a powder puff...annnndddd

FINISHED!! :)

Annnnddddd....TADA!! LOTD! :)

Perfect Blood Pout

Okay so maybe the title is a little too much, but come on! Everybody loves the red lip look. Even though we might not wear it much and save it for those special occasions - or just want to play around with makeup like me;) - you gotta know the how to. Here are simple tips I've learned to achive that pefect pout.

1) Make sure lips are exfoliated. Nobody likes flakey/dry lips, so remember this simple tip. If you don't have an exfoliant with you, you could do one of two things that wont break your wallet.
  • Rub you tooth brush gently across your lips after brushing your teeth. It'll smooth your lips and BONUS - the mint in your left over toothpaste will leave your lips tingling...if you like that sorta thing. LOL.
  • Get some vaseline + suger and rub it across your lips. It might not taste as good as your toothpaste, but its very effective.
* I use C.O. Bigelow's Mentha Lip Buffer Gentle Formula from Bath and Body Works*

2) Moisturize lips. Yes yes I know, so far this might be alot of product but trust me it'll pay off in the long run.

*I use Blistex DCT (Daily Conditioning Treatment) It's Great! It has SPF 20 and also conditions my lips while protecting them, so this thing has everything. So I definitely recommend it.*

TIP!! Make sure your Lipstick, Lip Liner and Gloss are all the same color so you have the most vibrant lip color possible.!

3) Line your lips along your natural lip edge. In my opinion, red already makes you lips plum looking enough so please dont try to fake because it could end in DISASTER!! :(

4) Now with the lipstick...pick a color your most comfortable with...AND CHUCK IT AWAY! Pick the most daring red you can stand and get ready for this step! If your confident and can just apply the lipstick on your lips on problem, go ahead. But if your new to lipstick or just wanna make sure you do it perfectly take a lip brush and then apply lipstick.

5) Finally! Take your gloss and apply it just as you applied your lipstick. (Lip brush or not...)
~ If you want more of a matte finish though, skip this step.

And.....TADA!! Perfect red lips in hopefully 2 to 3 mins. Hope this was helpful! Byee! <3
